FISH CULTURE
The CARD trust has arranged the fish Culture programme to SHG members of Panampattu Village.
NUTRITIONAL FOOD PRODUCTION
The CARD TRUST has organized the Nutritional food production for a healthy living to the members of SHG’S in villupuram.
COMPUTER EDUCTION
The CARD Trust organized computer education for the youths. The course are contend basic computer education, desktop publishing, the course are non-formal in nature. Students are adopted from the poor socio-economic back ground irrespective of caste and creed are trainee by us for consequently 6 months.
AIDS AWARENESS PROGRAMME
The CARD Trust organized 4 cluster level Aids Awareness camp. In the camp we explained about HIV/AIDS and mode of transmission, Pre cautionary methods and prevention.
Free note books for poor students
We identified poor children living in our target village, who are not able to continue their secondary education. We donated note books for 83 students of five villages.
TAILORING AND CUTTING TRAINING PROGRAMME
More than 340 women were benefited by the help of our camp in our target 50 villages on creating awareness in tailoring and cutting.
DIFFERENTLY ABLED PERSONS AWARENESS PROGRAMME
The programme was conducted to enlighten their hidden skills in Panchayat union elementary school, Karnatham, more than 40 differently bled men and women were participated.
CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAMME
Nearly 7,700 students from 18 government and 2 private schools were participated and benefited from the programme.
HOUSE HOLD TOILET CONSTRUCTION : TOTAL SANITATION CAMPAIGN PROMOTED BY DRDA – VILLUPURAM DISTRICT
CARD TRUST Created Awareness on to avoid open air defecation, and spread of human excreta, air pollution, pathogenic organism spread of human excreta, air pollution, pathogenic organism spread and control of communicable infection to infants and children. Our women SHG identified beneficiaries to avail low cost house hold toilets in target villages.
WOMEN DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
“A candle in enough to illuminate the world” our propaganda is to explore rural women skills and their capability. We uplift women in various program such as computer, handicrafts and tailoring etc.
LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAMME
Our organization has arranged several separate group training to the children, adolescent girls and boys, youths, women SHG’s village committee members o undergo these leadership training. Photo frame a non – woven bag making and saree printing were additionally added for BPl family women under MEDP.
MEDP Training by NABARD – women self help group members
SANITARY NAPKIN, JUTE BAG, Rexene bag, Banyan waste works, canteen, screen printing. Training for 170 women who participated and benefied by the training. Photo frame a non-woven bag making and saree printing were additionally adden for BPL family women under MEDP.
TRAIBAL EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME: - KALRAYAN HILLS
Basic computer training to adolescent girls, non formal students. For 6 months which contains computer applications, networking, DTP, photo shopping and coral drawing all clearly taught to these beneficiaries.
CHILD LABOUR ERADICATION CAMPAIGN:- CHIDAMBARAM, CUDDALORE DISTRICT
One day campaign in Chidambaram, cuddalore district, for SHG members, general public, youths, college students, adolescent girls.
BLOOD DONATION CAMP
Joint action programme to conduct blood donation camp at thiruvamathur village, villupuram Rotary club and CARD trust motivated 62 participants, selected 41 blood donors donate a unit of blood to save the human lives.
NGO-ANIMATOR AND REPRESENTATIVE CAPACITY BULIDING TRAINING NABARD
30 NGO animators and representatives attended capacity building training consist of leadership skills, SHG’s micro credit plan, PRA training, SHG’s Do’s and Don’ts inter – personal relationship skills, entrepreneurship development, SHG fund management, bank linkage for credit with banks linkage for credit with banks, social analysis, and capacity building.
